[ERROR] Could not find the Organization Container.
Hi, Hopefully somebody can help, I have wasted a whole afternoon! I am trying to install Exchange 2007 server from fresh on Windows 2003 SP2 64bit. I get as far as this error: [ERROR] Could not find the Organization Container. whether I try to install from the GUI or from command prompt. I am logged in as the domain admin. There seems to be virtually no info on the web for this error! please can someone advise what to do. Thanks, Tom

Dear customer: You can try the following steps to fix the issue and check the effect. 1. Take a system state backup of the Domain controller 2. Install windows support tools on the Domain controller 3. Go to start run and type adsiedit.msc and click Ok 4. On the Action menu, click Connect to. 5. In the Connection Settings dialog box, in the Name field, enter a name for the ADSI connection. 6. Under Connection Point, select Select a well known Naming Context and then select Configuration in the drop-down menu. Click OK. 7. In the left pane, double-click the Configuration object, and then double-click LostAndFoundConfig. 8. In the right pane, delete all objects and containers related to Exchange 9. Exit ADSI Edit. 10. Install Exchange 2007 and check the effect. If the issue persists, to proper assist you to troubleshoot the issue, please help collect the following information: 1. On Windows server 2003, navigate to <system drive>\ExchangeSetupLogs folder, compress the ExchangeSetup.log to a .rar file and send it to v-rocwan@microsoft.com, 2. On Windows server 2003, navigate to <system drive>\ExchangeSetupLogs\prereqs folder, compress the latest Exbpaxxx.log and Exbpaxxx.xml to a .rar file and send it to v-rocwan@microsoft.com, 3. What is your Exchange server 2007 SP version? 4. On Windows server 2003, open Event Viewer, navigate to application, right click it and save it as .evt file and send it to me.
